How I work

Hours of operation
I love the freedom that remote work brings but I appreciate that time-zones can be tricky. Although I’m UK-based, I keep flexible working blocks that overlap with North America, Europe and Australia, so collaboration stays smooth.

Payment and invoicing
All payments on service hours are paid upfront using BACS or Stripe. Invoices are sent electronically on the 1st of the month. All services are prepaid and work will commence once payment is received.

Refunds
When you reserve a block of hours, I clear my calendar to give your project my full attention. That dedicated focus is how I keep everything moving smoothly. To honour this commitment, any unused hours can’t be rolled over or refunded.

Confidentiality
I take your confidentiality seriously. Everything you share with me stays between us -nothing is passed to third parties. Once the work is finished and payment received, I’ll return all the documents you provided.



Time Tracking
I track every minute I spend on your project and send you a weekly progress report, so you always know exactly how your hours are being used.


Meetings
I recognise the value of both your time and mine. If you need to reschedule or cancel a meeting, please give at least 24 hours’ notice. I will extend the same courtesy and be punctual as well.

Prompt replies: I return all emails and calls within 48 hours on business days (Monday – Thursday).

Two-way feedback: I’ll check in for your thoughts, suggest improvements, and offer solutions that keep things moving.

An extra pair of hands: You’ll have direct access to me as your dedicated Online Business Manager.


Turnaround Times

Timeframes vary by task, but I aim to start any new project or request within 48 hours of receiving the details. You’ll always know the expected completion date, and I’ll update you if scope changes extend the timeline.


Project Management Tools

Already using Asana, Basecamp or another system? I’m happy to plug in. Otherwise, I’ll invite you into my ClickUp workspace so we can track everything in one place.

How We’ll Work Together

1 Discovery Call

Our first chat is a free, 30-minute video call. I’ll ask where the business feels strong, where support is thin, and what success looks like to you. Afterwards, I’ll send a tailored proposal with the OBM package, first observations and next-step suggestions.

2 Strategy Session

To kick things off, we’ll spend 75 minutes mapping priorities and pain-points in detail. We’re now a team – and together we’ll decide exactly which areas of your business you want to improve, how you think your team and projects can be better managed and which systems you want to put in place. It’s also an opportunity for me to evaluate your needs and your overall business structure, in order to allow you to get back to the parts of the business you love.

3 Business Audit (Days 1–14)

For the first two weeks I’ll study your systems, files, and workflows, meet the team and look for quick wins. No changes happen until this review is complete; it’s all about understanding how things run now.

4 First 90 Days

With the audit in hand, I plug the urgent gaps, streamline everyday processes, and set the groundwork for bigger projects. Expect fewer leaks, smoother hand-offs and clarity on what comes next.

5 Ongoing Management

I’ll build clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) so routine tasks run without you. From launches to social campaigns, I’ll keep projects moving while you reclaim time for the parts of the business you love, or a well-earned break.
